Deadline Date: March 04, 2026
MassChallenge UK has announced the launch of its 4th cohort in 2026, providing high-potential startups with the opportunity to connect with experts, corporations, and communities to drive growth and impact.
The programme’s focus areas include Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Autonomous Vehicles, Sustainable and Efficient Industry, Conversational AI, Generative AI for Design, and Perceptual Intelligence, all aimed at leveraging technology to transform industries and society.
The programme welcomes applications from startups leveraging AI and related technologies to create sustainable, efficient, and innovative solutions across various industries, from improving supply chains to enhancing autonomous navigation and developing expert AI systems. By combining technology with societal impact, MassChallenge UK aims to accelerate startups that can meaningfully transform industries and deliver positive global impact.
Participants in the UK programme will have access to a network of over 20 global corporate partners, representing more than £300 billion in revenue. Mentorship is provided by over 400 world-class experts, offering tailored guidance with no equity required. Startups can also compete for non-dilutive cash prizes of up to CHF 1 million through MassChallenge Switzerland, along with a special £20,000 prize for the top UK startup. The programme’s proven model has helped more than 65% of finalists secure funding during or immediately after participation.
Selected startups will receive office space in the Royal Docks, London, for the duration of the programme. The accelerator seeks startups with impactful, viable, and scalable solutions that have raised less than £3 million in capital and achieved less than £3 million in sales. Startups must have a strategic connection to the UK and be prepared to travel to London and Switzerland for key events, totaling up to 10 days over four months.
Based in East London, the accelerator works with partners such as BAE Systems, Whitworth Bros., Marriott Harrison, University of East London, and Queen Mary University to identify and support technical innovators. The programme also collaborates with the MassChallenge Switzerland Partner Group, including Bühler, Givaudan, dsm-firmenich, Louis Dreyfus Company, Südzucker, SIG, and Omya, to enhance its industry impact. While startups from any industry can apply, a dedicated track will spotlight those developing AI, Autonomy, or Cybersecurity solutions with societal and industrial benefits.
