Deadline Date: December 24, 2025
Karnataka took a decisive step forward in strengthening its statewide acceleration ecosystem with the launch of KAN Cohort 2 under the leadership of the Government of Karnataka.
The focus areas include: A 6-month acceleration journey under the Karnataka Startup Policy 2025–30; Focus on market validation, market access and funding pathways; Up to ₹30 lakh grant-in-aid, including ₹8.7 lakh deployment grants for top performers; Matching grants encouraged through corporate and industry networks.
Cohort-1 proved the model works. It attracted 219 applications, selected 60 startups, and achieved significant representation from Beyond Bengaluru and women-led founders, demonstrating that Karnataka’s mentor–mentee accelerator framework delivers measurable outcomes.
Cohort-2 builds on this momentum with a powerful roadmap designed to support startups transitioning from early traction to scalable growth. The structured acceleration program provides resources, ecosystem access, and funding opportunities aimed at supporting innovators across Karnataka.
KAN continues to evolve as a founder-first statewide acceleration network, strengthening pathways for innovation, investment, and entrepreneurship within the region.
