Deadline Date: April 03, 2026
The Global ImpactPreneur programme offers to support impact-driven startups across the Asia-Pacific region by providing opportunities for acceleration, mentorship, and access to global networks.
The programme focuses on supporting startups developing solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals that address social and environmental challenges in developing countries within the Asia-Pacific region, with a preference for innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence or other advanced technologies.
Global ImpactPreneur is led by the United Nations Development Programme Seoul Policy Centre in partnership with the Chung Mong-Koo Foundation. The programme aims to strengthen impact-oriented entrepreneurship by enabling selected startups to connect with regional experts, practitioners, investors, and ecosystem partners across the Asia-Pacific region.
Participants benefit from opportunities to engage with industry experts and decision-makers while exchanging experiences with other impact startups operating in the region. The programme also offers in-depth mentoring, investor relations coaching, and education on impact measurement to help startups strengthen their growth strategies and demonstrate their social and environmental impact.
Selected participants may also receive grant-based awards, with a total prize pool of more than USD 50,000. The programme culminates in a Demo Day and networking events held in Seoul, where the top ten startups will be considered for grant-based awards as well as follow-on programme and investment review opportunities.
To be eligible, applicants must operate a startup that addresses social or environmental challenges aligned with one or more Sustainable Development Goals in developing countries within the Asia-Pacific region. The startup must be beyond the ideation stage and demonstrate a functioning prototype, pilot, or proof of concept.
Applicants must be legally incorporated and operating in the Asia-Pacific region and must have been incorporated less than five years before the application deadline. Priority will be given to startups with experience operating or applying their solutions in developing countries within the region, startups founded by entrepreneurs from developing countries, and startups led by youth founders aged thirty-nine or below.
Certain applicants are not eligible for the programme. Startups that have previously been selected for programmes directly hosted by the Chung Mong-Koo Foundation or the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre cannot apply. This includes startups selected as fellows of the H-OnDream Startup Ground Programme and startups selected for Youth Co:Lab programmes hosted by the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre.
