Deadline Date: March 18, 2026
The FFI Zero Emissions program invites applications to support the development and integration of fossil-free and electrified vehicles, aiming to accelerate the transition to sustainable, energy-efficient transportation.
The program is open to projects that can contribute to its overarching impact objectives, as well as the specific mission of the Zero Emissions sub-program. Applications are accepted continuously, with summaries prepared periodically to streamline the assessment process. The call announces a total funding pool of approximately 90 million kronor, with a maximum grant of up to 500,000 kronor per project. Projects can start no earlier than April 28, 2026, and must conclude by August 15, 2030.
Eligible applicants include businesses, public sector organizations, universities and colleges across various faculties, and other institutions capable of advancing the goals of the program. All projects require co-financing from the business sector to ensure shared investment in sustainable mobility solutions.
FFI Zero Emissions encourages proposals that push the boundaries of vehicle electrification, fossil-free technology, and energy efficiency, supporting Sweden’s vision of a climate-neutral transport sector.
