SheVentures, FCMB’s women-focused business division, and FCMB’s innovation hub, Hub One, presents HERCCELERATE, an accelerator program designed to position early-stage, high-potential women-led technology startups in Nigeria for investments and rapid growth.
HERCCELERATE aims to provide selected female founders with coaching, grant funding, technological tools and access to potential investors. Up to 40 women-led tech startups will be selected to participate in this inaugural edition of HERCCELERATE. Over the next five years, the goal is to empower up to 200 women-led tech startups.
HERCCELERATE 1.0 will run over a 5-week period and culminate in a Demo Day where 5 finalists will pitch to an esteemed jury for a chance to win grants and other prizes.

Eligibility Criteria
- Your company must be founded and led by at least one woman
- Your company must be registered and operating in Nigeria
- Your company must be looking to raise its first round of institutional funding within the next 12 to 36 months
- Your company’s solution must be technology-enabled and innovative.
- Your company must not be more than 3 years old.
- Your company must have paying users and generating annual revenue of between 10 – 50 million naira
- Your company must operate in the following verticals: fintech, agritech, lending, edtech, healthtech, energy-tech, trade-tech, logistics/mobility and proptech. Companies that are solving any of the SDGs would also be considered.
