Huge Thing Startup Booster is a specialized program designed to support scientists and technical entrepreneurs in transitioning their research-driven innovations from the lab to the market.
The program caters to scientists and technical entrepreneurs embarking on the journey of transitioning their cutting-edge, research-driven innovations from the laboratory to the marketplace, providing essential support to facilitate the transition from experimental prototypes to commercially viable products. During the program, startups will benefit from workshops focused on upgrading their business model, market research, team development, and basic knowledge on fundraising. The primary aim of acceleration is to enhance the technological capabilities of startups and validate their alignment with market demands. The program targets startups ready to develop, dedicated to technical entrepreneurs and scientists determined to found a startup, with technologies under TRL 5.
Participating startups receive a maximum grant of 200,000 PLN to develop their solutions. In addition, startups can consult their R&D plans and results with experienced professionals, ensuring that their technology development aligns with industry best practices. Mentorship is provided individually, allowing startups to apply workshop knowledge and address challenges specific to their journey.
Networking opportunities connect startups with other innovators, corporates, and venture capital funds, offering insights into the industry and potential collaborations. Tailor-made workshops focus on aligning business models and startup development strategies, ensuring that startups are well-prepared for market demands.
