Catapult: Inclusion LAC is an exclusive program designed to bring together fintech innovators committed to advancing financial inclusion across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The program focuses on three core pillars: Impact, Scaling, and Funding, targeting fintech solutions in Insurtech, Regtech, Agritech, Fundtech, Agetech, Payments, Lending, Big Data & AI, Core Banking, and Financial Education.
Through a carefully tailored one-week acceleration program, Catapult: Inclusion LAC offers participants a unique opportunity to enhance their strategic capabilities, foster innovation, understand regulatory frameworks, and build meaningful connections with leaders in inclusive finance and financial services. The program emphasizes creating positive social and economic impact in the LAC region, providing insights into effective scaling strategies such as partnership building, customer acquisition, operational optimization, and exploring funding strategies to secure resources and launch innovative solutions.
Supported by the Luxembourg Directorate for Development Cooperation & Humanitarian Affairs, the program covers all costs for selected participants, including reimbursement of up to €2,000 for round-trip economy travel for one team member. The program is aimed at early to growth-stage fintech startups with a demonstrable Minimum Viable Product and a clear focus on serving underserved or unbanked populations. Companies active in fields such as AgriTech, AI & Big Data, Banking, Blockchain, Core Banking Solutions, Consumer Financing, Credit Services, Cryptocurrencies, Cybersecurity, Digital & Financial Services, Financial Management, FundTech & Investment, Green Finance, InsurTech, Lending, Life Insurance, Micro Banking, Microfinance, Mobile Payments, Money Transfer, Online Trading Platforms, Remittances, RegTech, Savings & Credits, WealthTech, and Financial Wellness are encouraged to apply.
The program fosters meaningful engagement by requiring the presence of a founding team member for the duration of the program, particularly if advancing to the second week in Luxembourg. Participants also commit to providing ongoing performance metrics and business updates for three years post-program to help evaluate long-term impact and success. By connecting promising fintech startups with expertise, resources, and networks, Catapult: Inclusion LAC drives innovative solutions that empower communities and promote sustainable financial inclusion across the region.
