The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) has announced the call for new implementing organizations for the 2026–2028 BiGG Phase 1 Acceleration Program under the 1601 Support Program for Capacity Building in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the 1812 Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Program.
The focus of this call is on identifying and equipping implementing organizations to run Phase 1 acceleration activities of the BiGG Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Program, providing mechanisms to transform entrepreneurs’ business ideas into qualified business plans, supporting entrepreneurs from the conception stage to market entry, developing ventures with high added value and high employment potential, receiving business idea applications, evaluating them, providing acceleration services, training, pre-incubation, mentoring, conducting validation studies, supporting model and prototype creation, preparing entrepreneurs for investor presentations, and facilitating transition to Phase 2 pre-seed investment applications.
Institutions and organizations eligible to apply include higher education institutions, legally recognized research infrastructures, technology development zone management companies, technology transfer offices, capital companies with proven accelerator or entrepreneurship competition experience, foundations established by law, KOSGEB-licensed TEKMER technology development centers, and public research centers and institutes. Partnerships are permitted with up to three partner organizations, and contributions from stakeholders such as universities, NGOs, cooperatives, public institutions, and the private sector must be clearly stated in the proposal.
The program offers a support period of 36 months starting from January 1, 2026. There is no upper budget limit for project proposals, and implementing organizations are required to use the BiGG Investment name and logo in all program-related activities. Financial and in-kind support may be provided to entrepreneurs for prototype development, equipment, and working space, with additional support offered for women’s entrepreneurship, disabled entrepreneurs, and sustainability-focused activities.
Project applications must be submitted online through PRODIS. The call closes on 17 October 2025, with a project-based pre-registration deadline of 10 October 2025. Missing documents must be completed by 31 October 2025.
