Deadline: October 24, 2025
The Fintech Hub is a long-term, no-fee, no-equity program designed for pre-Series A fintech startups in Canada to build a foundation of knowledge, expand their network, and scale their innovative solutions.
The focus areas of the Fintech Hub include capacity building through office hours with specialized coaches and workshops, monthly lunch & learns from fintech leaders, peer-to-peer networking via an exclusive Slack community, monthly fintech founder networking sessions, access to an archive of recorded workshops, software credits with leading fintech software providers, fintech-specific resource guides, recruitment channels, and opportunities to be showcased at career fairs.
The Fintech Hub program supports startups by offering coaching and consultations to help refine go-to-market strategies and business models. Participants have access to monthly workshops and webinars covering essential business fundamentals and opportunities for pro-bono support from accounting, legal, and other service providers. The program fosters a strong network by connecting founders with other fintech entrepreneurs, experts, clients, and partners, including financial institutions and corporates.
Startups enrolled in the Hub benefit from tailored resources such as free software credits from major fintech providers and exclusive access to an archive of past workshops to build their expertise. The program also provides opportunities to feature startups in public newsletters and to participate in fintech founder networking sessions to share challenges and celebrate wins.
To be eligible, startups need to have validated the problem they seek to solve, have at least one full-time person working on their technology-based financial services solution, operate within Canada, and be pre-Series A with less than $10 million in annual recurring revenue.
Enrollment is a simple process involving an application, a chat to assess fit and needs, confirmation of enrollment, and periodic check-ins to ensure startups are benefiting fully from the program. The Fintech Hub is supported by a broad ecosystem, including regional collaborations and regulatory partners such as Ontario’s financial services regulator, which provides innovation-focused support.
