Apply Now: Orange Corners Ignition Incubation and Acceleration Program (Angola)

Orange Corners Ignition is an incubation and acceleration program designed to help startups and early-stage companies grow, with its primary focus to provide rapid and effective development, increasing their chances of success and inspiring their communities.

OCI offers a variety of resources and support, including mentorship, access to mentors and industry experts, educational workshops, and networking opportunities. The program also includes a financing component to be made possible by OCIF – Orange Corners Innovation Fund, OCIF is a fund that supports entrepreneurship projects, in Angola it is implemented by Development Workshop Angola (DW) and Kixi Crédito.

Ignition will last six (6) months in a hybrid format (virtual and in-person), in which the target audience is all startups and companies in the implementation stage, with a special focus on projects in the agricultural and logistics sector, projects from other sectors are also invited to participate.

Depending on the nature of each business, OCA Ignition focuses on providing specialized training for both Startups and SMEs.

Program Phases

  • The program is subdivided into 6 phases, which are as follows:
    • Module 1: Business concept validation phase;
      • Customer Discovery para startups/Business Concept para PME’s
    • Track 1 Financial Readiness
    • Module 2: This phase is for improvements and construction of the product/service and business;
      • Product Development para startups/Organization para PME’s
    • Module 3: Phase of improving revenue models, scalability and business growth;
      • Growth para startups/Customer Relations para PME’s
    • Module 4: This phase focuses on training for receiving investment, as well as for operational improvements to the business.
      • Funding & Investment para startups/Operations para PME’s
    • Track 2 Financial Readiness
