The LevelUP Health & Life Sciences Accelerator is inviting early-stage startups in Romania and Central and Eastern Europe to apply for its intensive free accelerator program.
The accelerator is focused on solution development and validation, customer discovery and understanding, securing funding, obtaining certifications, delivering a compelling pitch, validation, legislation, financing, product market fit, and pitching, while supporting startups working in health, pharmaceuticals, agri-food, senior care, cosmetics, medical devices, food supplements, and biofuels.
LevelUP Health & Life Sciences Accelerator is specially designed for startups in the life sciences sector that are under five years old. The program supports founders in accelerating their ideas through expert guidance and tailored assistance aligned with the individual objectives of each startup. It is completely free to join, and participants are not required to give up any equity or shares.
Selected startups will benefit from personalized support throughout the program. They will receive ongoing access to experienced mentors through one-on-one sessions and free business consultancy tailored to their specific needs. The accelerator also offers a broad range of know-how to help startups strengthen different aspects of their business and innovation journey.
The program is positioned as the first accelerator in Romania created specifically for businesses in the health and life sciences fields. In addition to expert support and consulting, participants will gain access to a supportive community that includes entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors, and potential customers.
The opportunity also includes attractive prizes for the best-performing startups. The winner will receive fast-track access to the final selection round for the Hero Training program in Silicon Valley, which includes a residency of more than five weeks, meetings with investors from the Draper network, the opportunity to pitch to Draper Funds, and participation in Demo Day alongside Tim Draper.
In addition, the best startups in LevelUP will receive fast-track access to evaluation for grant or equity funding provided by Fortech Ventures, with funding of up to €150,000 available.
The ideal candidate is an early-stage startup between one and five years old that is developing an innovative MVP in the health or life sciences field.
