Applications open for SIA Incubator Program – Slovakia

The Social Impact Award provides the most promising projects with popularity and a stamp of quality for a wide range of key players in a local and international context, as well as opening the door to potential investors.

Their program helps young people develop their socially beneficial ideas from vague intentions to thriving businesses. Since 2009, the SIA program has been organized in more than 25 countries around the world.

Eligibility criteria

• By following clear application criteria, they are able to fulfill their mission, which is to help young people take their first steps in the world of social entrepreneurship. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • To ensure that they really help young people, at least one member of the team must meet the age limit from 15-30 years (inclusive).
  • They welcome ideas that have not yet been realized, as well as ideas in the early stages of development. However, ideas for early implementation can only be submitted if the project was founded after January 1 of the previous year.
  • Applicants with a project have not received formal funding in the past. These are formal grants or investments (money from winning competitions, grants, subsidies, investments, etc.) that exceed the amount of €6,000. Unfortunately, they cannot accept projects that received funding above this amount for incubation.
  • If you applied last year, they would love to see you again, but only with a new idea or project. Unfortunately, they will not accept the old one.
