Deadline Date: January 17, 2026
The AGRI INVO is an incubation programme designed to support start-ups in the agriculture and allied sectors that have innovative products, services, or business models at the Minimum Viable Product stage and are ready for commercialization.
The programme aims to create a strong and collaborative ecosystem where start-ups can grow by engaging with industry experts, subject mentors, academicians, and funding institutions under one roof. Through this environment, AGRI INVO helps strengthen business plans, expand professional networks, and upscale emerging ventures with in-house technical support from the ANGRAU Poshan Incubator.
By combining funding, mentorship, technical expertise, and access to a strong innovation network, AGRI INVO provides a comprehensive incubation platform for agriculture-focused start-ups seeking to commercialize their solutions and scale their impact.
The programme focuses on accelerating the journey from MVP to a market-ready and scalable solution. By offering timely funding and structured incubation support, AGRI INVO enables start-ups to refine their innovations and align them with real market needs. It also provides a platform for rapid experimentation, allowing start-ups to test, adapt, and improve their strategies, processes, and products as they prepare for larger-scale deployment.
Funding under AGRI INVO is structured to encourage active participation from incubatees. Start-ups are required to contribute 15 percent of the total project cost on a proportionate basis, while the remaining 85 percent is provided as support, up to a maximum of ₹25 lakhs. This shared funding approach ensures commitment from the start-up while reducing financial barriers to growth and commercialization.
To be eligible, applicants must be registered legal entities in India and recognized as Indian start-ups under the DPIIT notification. The start-up must have an MVP ready and should not be an Indian subsidiary of a multinational or foreign company. Start-ups that have already received grant-in-aid funding from state or central government bodies, either partially or fully, are not eligible. Additionally, a start-up that has received support under this programme once cannot apply again in subsequent rounds.
