The Pomeranian Special Economic Zone has opened recruitment for the 5th round of the Acceleration Zone program under the Technology Recipient Track as part of the Startup Booster Poland – SMART UP initiative to support innovative startups seeking technological development and collaboration with large enterprises.
The focus areas of the opportunity are financial grants up to PLN 400,000 equity-free, without IP acquisition, constituting de minimis aid, strategic cooperation with a large client, i.e. renowned business partners, business and technological mentoring, i.e. substantive support from ecosystem partners, maritime industry, Industry 4.0, and Life Science.
The Acceleration Zone program provides comprehensive support for emerging technology companies by offering significant non-equity funding, engagement with established business partners, and mentorship from experts across various areas of the innovation ecosystem. Through this structure, startups gain access not only to resources but also to long-term development prospects, customer validation, and potential commercialization opportunities alongside large corporate recipients of technology.
The program welcomes startups at diverse development stages, from prototype to ready product with early market implementations. Projects that align with key priority sectors, such as maritime industry, Industry 4.0, and Life Science, are particularly encouraged. In addition to financial backing, participants gain exposure to strategic networking, the possibility of pilot implementations, and direct interactions with technology purchasers.
