Wamanga Wa Komor Entrepreneurship and Investment Support Grant (Comoros)

The call focuses on strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem, supporting environmentally sustainable SMEs, building the capacity of support structures, promoting green and blue economy initiatives, improving access to finance, encouraging ecological transition, and fostering inclusion of women and youth.

The funding available for this call totals €500,000, with individual grants ranging from a minimum of €50,000 to a maximum of €125,000. A significant portion of the funding is intended to be redistributed as financial support to third-party beneficiaries, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, while maintaining a strong emphasis on technical support and program implementation.

Eligibility for this grant is limited to legally registered entities operating in the Comoros, including non-governmental organizations, associations, private companies, and entrepreneurship support organizations such as incubators and accelerators. Applicants must have at least three years of establishment in the country, demonstrate proven experience in entrepreneurship support or similar donor-funded projects, and possess the technical and financial capacity to manage the proposed activities. They must also show expertise in green and blue economy sectors and be directly responsible for project design and implementation, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial management requirements.

The selected organizations will implement structured programs that include activities such as training, incubation, technical support, market access facilitation, and investment readiness, all aligned with sustainable development goals. Projects must be implemented primarily within the Comoros and follow a phased approach, beginning with a pre-financing stage followed by a full implementation phase.
