Deadline: August 22, 2025
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Solomon Islands has launched a call for proposals to develop innovative digital financial solutions for informal enterprises, with a focus on women and youth entrepreneurs.
The project aims to support informal enterprises in transitioning towards sustainable growth and formalization by improving access to finance through digital financial products and services. Key priorities include empowering women and youth, fostering financial inclusion, and driving economic formalization across African, Caribbean, and Pacific (ACP) regions.
Financial intermediaries and fintech firms are invited to submit proposals that address the challenges faced by informal economy actors. The initiative seeks scalable solutions that can enhance financial accessibility and promote long-term business sustainability. A pre-proposal conference will be held on 15 August 2025 at the UNDP Office in ANZ Haus, Ranadi, to provide further details and answer questions.
