Deadline Date: March 20, 2026
The TRANSFORM Business Grant provides critical support to entrepreneurs in systemically marginalized groups, helping them grow their businesses and make a social impact.
The grant focuses on supporting anticapitalist and antiracist business practices, offering financial assistance, year-long business strategy and development, mentorship, and access to pro bono expert services in areas such as branding, coaching, skill-based learning, and marketing.
The primary objectives of the grant are to provide $1,000 microgrants to anticapitalist businesses led by social impact-focused individuals, support professional growth without forcing recipients to sacrifice their business ideas, deliver a customized year-long growth-based mentorship program, and prioritize applicants from systemically marginalized groups including BIPOC individuals, people with disabilities, formerly incarcerated individuals, and queer, trans, and nonbinary individuals. Financial need is also a key priority, defined as the inability to obtain necessary resources with the means currently available.
The TRANSFORM Business Grant is currently open only to individuals or teams located in the United States, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. While the grant provides significant support, it does not fund political organizations or activities, religious organizations for religious purposes, student loans, or other debt payments. Additionally, the program does not provide consultation or advice for medicinal or clinical practices, and businesses in these areas are not eligible. Recipients of the grant will receive a 1099-MISC for the awarded funds.
This grant offers an opportunity for entrepreneurs who are committed to social impact and systemic change to receive financial support and strategic guidance while participating in a comprehensive mentorship program designed to strengthen and grow their ventures. By combining funding with expert mentorship and professional development, TRANSFORM aims to dismantle oppressive systems of power and foster meaningful, equitable growth for marginalized business owners.
