The Somerset Community Foundation is seeking grant applications to support the growth and development of early-stage businesses run by young entrepreneurs that are already trading.
The fund focuses on supporting business growth and development through expansion of product lines or services, upgrading equipment, increasing production where demand is proven, developing new products, building websites or booking systems, undertaking training, creating prototypes, and covering other essential business needs that contribute to increased revenue.
Applicants can apply for funding of up to £2,000 to support the growth and development of their existing business. The funding may be used to invest in equipment that enables a second revenue stream, supports increased production, or facilitates the introduction of new products or services, as well as for materials, stock, training, and product development activities.
The fund is open to individuals aged 18 to 30 who live in Somerset, North Somerset, or Bath and North East Somerset and are running a business that has been trading for less than two years. Applicants must have already made sales from their business to be eligible for support.
