Deadline: November 10, 2025
The 2025–26 Supporting Women in Business Grants NSW provides funding between $150,000 and $250,000 to organisations in New South Wales to help women start or grow small and micro businesses through training, mentoring, networking, and access to business support from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2028.
This program aims to address barriers for women to achieve their purpose of starting or growing a micro or small business. The grants seek to increase women’s skills and confidence to support them in achieving their business goals. Funding is available for projects that deliver training, mentoring, networking skills and opportunities, assistance to access finance and business development support. Projects are tailored to a nominated Women NSW focus community and should respond to the community’s specific needs and circumstances.
The Supporting Women in Business Grants NSW initiative offers a valuable opportunity for organisations to design and implement projects that connect women entrepreneurs with essential tools and resources to thrive. By funding tailored initiatives, the program focuses on enabling women to overcome challenges and access guidance that can lead to sustainable business success.
Eligible applicants include legally constituted Australian-based entities such as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations, incorporated not-for-profit organisations, community organisations, industry associations, Chambers of Commerce, and social enterprises. Each applicant must have a single organisation responsible for the delivery of the project if selected.
To qualify, applicants must be willing to obtain public liability insurance with a minimum cover of $10 million and submit a clear budget that outlines eligible and non-eligible expenditure. While the organisation must be based within New South Wales, exceptions are allowed if the project benefits women in NSW and all regulatory requirements are met.
Projects funded under this program must be delivered during the period from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2028. The initiative ultimately seeks to foster an inclusive business ecosystem by connecting women with networks, skills, and confidence to achieve their entrepreneurial ambitions.
