The Innovation Fund is now accepting grant applications to support investments in biotechnology and biosolutions to advance research, technological development, and innovation for sustainable production and new solutions through the use of living organisms.
The focus is on biotechnology and biosolutions, strengthening research, technological development and innovation, contributing to sustainable production, developing new solutions, and advancing the understanding, manipulation and use of living organisms.
The total budget allocated to this initiative is a minimum of DKK 90 million. Individual projects can receive funding ranging from DKK 5 million to DKK 30 million.
Projects supported under this initiative may have a duration of between one and five years, allowing flexibility for both shorter and longer-term research and development activities.
Eligibility to apply is broad, as any legal entity in Denmark or abroad can participate in a project and receive funding. This includes businesses, research institutions, and public institutions.
