The National Research, Development and Innovation Office invites domestic small-, medium- and large-enterprises to apply for funding of product, technology or service development under specific innovation focus areas.
The focus areas are: supporting preventive, therapeutic and care systems to maintain healthy living; the economy’s green transition and the creation of a circular economy, within that a priority target is support for energy and agricultural technologies; and any other excellence project in line with the objectives and priorities of the National Intelligent Specialisation Strategy (S3).
The call is launched under the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme (code GINOP Plusz 2.1.1‑24). It encourages enterprise R&D and innovation activities by offering non-repayable support for the development and production of new or significantly improved products, technologies or services.
The call allows for experimental development, industrial (applied) research and associated supporting activities such as hardware and software procurement, software subscription services, project management, communication, intellectual property protection, utilities, market launch and horizontal activities.
Support is available to enterprises operating anywhere in Hungary. The minimum eligible support request per project is HUF 300 000 000 and the maximum is HUF 800 000 000. Projects may run for a duration between 24 and 36 months. For the submission deadlines and detailed rules applicants should refer to the official call.
