Deadline Date: June 16, 2026
The Niger Delta Digital Summit is offering an exciting seed‑funding opportunity aimed at boosting tech‑driven startups in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region.
Through this program, a total of ₦1,800,000 in seed funding will be awarded to the top three digital or tech‑led startups, giving them a chance to scale their operations and grow their impact. The first-place winner will receive ₦1,000,000, the second‑place winner ₦500,000, and the third‑place winner ₦300,000 — offering real financial support for early‑stage ventures.
Startups working in sectors such as fintech, agritech, health‑tech, edtech, e-commerce or green‑tech are encouraged to apply, especially if they are based in one of the nine Niger Delta states (Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, Rivers). To qualify, the startup should be between six months and five years old, and should show clear innovation or potential impact in its sector.
In addition to funding, winners gain access to valuable resources and support: a complimentary workspace, cloud storage support, and business‑masterclasses — helping startups not just survive, but build strong foundations for growth. The summit also offers visibility and networking opportunities, giving founders a platform to present their ideas in front of investors, mentors and other key stakeholders in the region’s developing tech ecosystem.
This initiative represents a powerful chance for entrepreneurs in the Niger Delta to transform early‑stage ideas into viable businesses. By providing funding, resources and exposure, the summit’s seed‑funding program aims to drive tech‑led innovation and contribute towards broader economic and social development in the region.
