Deadline Date: April 01, 2026
Applications are now open for the Shophand $5k Small Business Boost Grant, an initiative designed to support U.S.-based small business owners in overcoming key technology and operational challenges.
The grant focuses on small business operational support, technology enablement, AI tools and automation, creative and media support, marketing and sales assistance, operations and customer experience improvement, software setup, financial and management support, and reducing workload stress for non-technical business owners. Running a small business often requires balancing multiple responsibilities across operations, marketing, finances, systems, and customer engagement, leaving little time to master complex technologies. The Shophand $5k Small Business Boost Grant was created to address this challenge by providing practical, hands-on support tailored to the real needs of small business owners.
The grant is awarded three times each year and provides selected businesses with a total value of $5,000 in support. Each recipient receives $2,500 in no-strings-attached cash alongside $2,500 worth of Shophand technical support and services. These services are customized based on the recipient’s most pressing challenges and are specifically designed for business owners who do not consider themselves tech-savvy. Shophand’s support offering includes access to AI tools and automation, creative and media assistance, marketing and technical support, operational overhauls, software setup, and personalized human-powered assistance through a dedicated Shophand. This combination is intended to help businesses operate more smoothly, efficiently, and with reduced stress.
The opportunity is open to U.S.-based for-profit small businesses that are actively operating, employ fewer than 50 people, and generate under $5 million in annual revenue. Eligible applicants must also follow Shophand on major social media platforms. While not mandatory, preference is given to applicants who have used a “Your Shophand” service during the current application cycle. This grant is particularly suited for small business owners who feel overwhelmed by managing multiple roles and responsibilities and are seeking practical support to strengthen their operations and systems without needing deep technical expertise.
