The Regis Ohia Foundation is offering entrepreneurship grants to young Nigerian business owners in key industries, with applications open until 31st August 2025.
The focus areas for this opportunity include businesses operating in Agribusiness, Healthcare, Education, and Recycling. Eligible applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged 18-40, founders of legally registered businesses (with a CAC certificate), and have an active business within 1 to 4 years of operation. Participants must also commit to attending all virtual sessions and follow the foundation’s social media pages.
The program includes a four-week virtual Accelerator Program in September 2025, followed by a final physical pitch event in Lekki, Lagos, on 31st October. Selected applicants stand to win funding prizes: ₦2.5 million for first place, ₦1.5 million for second, and ₦1 million for third. Additional benefits include tailored business training, mentorship from industry leaders, networking opportunities, media exposure, and certificates of participation.
The application process involves four stages: submission by 31st August, selection of the top 50 candidates for the Accelerator Program, a physical pitch for qualifying participants, and the final grant announcement on 8th November at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Interested entrepreneurs must provide personal and business details, including a CAC registration certificate and a two-minute video pitch. The foundation encourages eligible business owners to apply before the deadline.
