The Sevenoaks District Council is offering grants to provide training and support to businesses around the themes of disability, mental health and wellbeing.
Themes
- Their Enhancing Employment Fund is available for projects that support Sevenoaks District based businesses in one or both of the following themes.
- Disability awareness, including inclusive recruitment and or/disability confident accreditation
- Mental wellbeing – supporting staff and customers with mental wellbeing, including awareness of neurodiversity
Funding Information
- Grants of up to £5,000 are available.
Key Criteria for Grant Selection
- To stand the best chance of being awarded a grant, your projects should:
- Demonstrate how you will address one or both of the themes
- Have clear, measurable outcomes
- Have a clear plan setting out how you will reach at least 20 businesses in the Sevenoaks District
- Demonstrate awareness of the needs and challenges of small businesses
- Explain how the benefits of your project will be sustained into the future
- A clear evaluation and monitoring plan.
Pre-application Requirements
- Before you apply:
- Make sure you are authorised to complete the application on behalf of your organisation
- Have your organisation’s registration number (e.g. company or charity registration) to hand
- Also have your bank details to hand. These will be used as part of their mandatory anti-fraud checks.
