Deadline Date: January 05, 2026
The Sage Impact Entrepreneurship Program 2026 is a high-impact accelerator designed to support early-stage startups in Europe, the UK and the United States that are focused on addressing environmental, social and economic challenges through innovation.
The program is run by Village Capital in partnership with Sage Foundation. Over the next three years, it will back up to 165 entrepreneurs, providing them with strategic training, mentoring, grants and long-term support to scale solutions for people and the planet.
Participants are organized into two cohorts: a core cohort of 12-13 high-potential startups per region, and a broader community cohort of 14-16 formation-stage ventures. All selected startups will gain access to mentorship, investment readiness support, and visibility within the global impact ecosystem. Core cohort members receive up to USD 10,000 in grant funding, with further grants of USD 50,000 and USD 25,000 awarded to peer-selected top performers.
The programme is geared towards startups whose solutions align with large-scale impact themes such as clean energy transition, biodiversity, smart mobility, circular economy, climate-resilient health systems, and inclusive economic growth. Eligible entities typically have a minimum viable product, less than USD 1.5 million in equity raised, and are incorporated or operating in the target region.
For those aiming to scale impactful enterprises, this accelerator provides more than just funding—it offers community, coaching and market access. Entrepreneurs who participate will benefit from multi-year support, helping them move from early validation to systemic growth, build networks with strategic partners, and unlock capital needed for scale. Whoever is ready to elevate their venture for positive social and planetary return should consider applying to the Sage Impact Entrepreneurship Program 2026.
