The Rockets Grant Program is offering applications to support the development of air- and ground-launched rocket technologies with different operational ranges in Ukraine.
The program focuses on rocket technologies designed for air and ground launch systems with different ranges of application, supporting innovation, technical advancement, and development readiness in the defense sector.
The funding amount available under the program is up to 8,000,000 UAH. The grant amount depends on the results of the defense expertise and the score achieved according to the criteria of innovation, technical level, and readiness of the development.
Grant funding can be used for salaries and gig contracts of up to 120 thousand UAH per person per month, including taxes and military service contributions, with these expenses limited to 30 percent of the total budget. Funding may also cover materials and services without restrictions, while equipment expenses may account for up to 30 percent of the budget.
Certain expenses are prohibited under the program. These include business trips, marketing activities, office rental, furniture, fuel, vehicles, renovation of premises, and equipment not related to prototypes or models. The grant cannot be used to purchase weapons except for models or prototypes, and it cannot finance expenses already covered by other programs.
Applications are open to Ukrainian companies registered in accordance with the established procedure. State or municipal enterprises, as well as public and charitable organizations, are not eligible to apply. Developers may receive a maximum of two grants per year.
