Deadline Date: February 14, 2026
The RISE Community Fund, supported by National Broadband Ireland and Granahan McCourt, aims to bridge the rural-urban digital divide by providing financial support to local businesses, community groups, farms, and social enterprises seeking to enhance their digital strategies.
Each month, the fund awards €1,000 grants to projects that demonstrate a positive impact of technology, giving an immediate boost to local digital ecosystems.
Eligible projects must clearly highlight a digital need and how technology will benefit their initiative. Non-technology-related applications are not considered. For February 2025, two grants of €1,000 will be awarded in each county. Submissions are reviewed and shortlisted by the RISE Team and Board, with successful applicants receiving funds via Electronic Funds Transfer. Applicants must provide a recent bank statement matching the organization’s name for payment processing.
Applicants must be over 18 years of age, provide truthful information throughout the application process, and have an annual turnover of no more than €500,000. Awardees are expected to participate in publicity, share updates on project outcomes, and disseminate best practices to support other organizations. RISE may request additional information for due diligence to ensure proper management of the grants.
