The Western Sydney Strategic Partnership Program offers significant funding to strengthen the arts, culture, and creative industries across Western Sydney.
The program focuses on building skills, enhancing organisational capacity, developing audiences, fostering partnerships, sourcing investment, and creatively activating spaces. Funding is available for projects that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the region’s cultural sector, with grants of up to $2,150,000.
Eligible applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) registered in New South Wales and a business account with an Australian financial institution. The program accepts a wide range of legal entities, including incorporated trustees on behalf of a trust, incorporated associations, joint applications led by a primary organisation, registered charities or not-for-profits, publicly funded research organisations, tertiary institutions delivering creative programs, local government bodies, and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporations. Applicants must also be registered for GST and have a physical presence in one or more of the specified Local Government Areas: Blacktown City, Blue Mountains City, Camden Council, and Campbelltown City.
Individuals, partnerships, unincorporated associations, state or federal government departments or bodies (with the exception of tertiary education providers), state cultural institutions, and screen production companies or film festivals are not eligible to apply.
This program provides a valuable opportunity for organisations in Western Sydney to secure funding for initiatives that foster innovation, collaboration, and community engagement within the region’s vibrant creative and cultural landscape.
