The National Research, Development and Innovation Office calls to encourage RDI activities by small, medium and large enterprises in Hungary.
The focus areas of the opportunity are supporting preventive, curative and care systems to maintain healthy living focus area under “the national economy priority”, supporting the green transition of the economy and the development of a circular economy, including, in particular, the focus area under the national economy priority “supporting energy and agricultural technologies”, and all other excellence projects in line with the objectives and priorities of the National Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3).
The call provides funding for the development and production of innovative products, technologies and services, with available funding ranging from a minimum of HUF 300,000,000 to a maximum of HUF 800,000,000, and the funding is non-refundable. The total budget available for funding is HUF 106,880 million.
Eligible applicants include small and medium-sized enterprises and large companies, and applications may also be submitted in consortia. Eligible activities under this call include experimental development, industrial (applied) research, and research and development project support activities such as hardware and software procurement, software subscription services, project management, mandatory publicity, obtaining industrial property protection, overheads, market launch, and horizontal activities.
