The European Commission has announced its applications to strengthen the growth and innovation potential of creative startups and scaleups across Europe by supporting disruptive and cross-sectoral innovation within the cultural and creative industries.
The opportunity focuses on deepening knowledge of factors that support the growth of creative startups, especially those with disruptive innovation potential and cross-sectoral impacts. It also supports the development and testing of effective methods that help creative startups scale, encourages stronger engagement from investors, policymakers, funding and enterprise support bodies, and promotes successful examples of creative startups that achieve scaling or market disruption.
The total funding available for this Innovation Actions call is €12,000,000. Any legal entity, regardless of place of establishment, including entities from non-associated third countries and international organisations, may participate if they meet the conditions set under the Horizon Europe Regulation and the specific topic requirements.
Eligible participants may include affiliated entities, associated partners, entities without legal personality under certain conditions, EU bodies, the Joint Research Centre, and associations or interest groupings. Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register to obtain a Participant Identification Code (PIC) and complete validation procedures before signing the grant agreement.
