The Agribusiness Development Agency (ADA) presents an opportunity for Registered Black owned Agribusinesses operating within the KZN Province to apply for project funding for the 2026/27 financial year.
Aims
- The aim is to unlock opportunities in the Agribusiness sector in order to contribute towards National Food security, job creation and transformation through the funding of qualifying, sustainable commercial scale Agribusiness Enterprises in KZN.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants from vulnerable groups (Y/F/PWD) and those whose enterprises falling within Rural and Poverty Stricken areas are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Applicants
- Preference will be given to applicants:
- who are able to demonstrate Agribusiness capacity and experience;
- whose enterprise is commercial in nature, having definitive market access and clear value chain linkages;
- whose enterprises are compliant to all legal and regulatory requirements (EIA and water use amongst others);
- falling within the category of vulnerable groups viz. Women, Youth and People Living With Disabilities (PWD).
- Who have or can access blended finance through other organisations ie Banks, and development finance institutions.
