Deadline: December 31, 2025
The Production Funding program supports companies in Vienna aiming to manufacture competitive products or establish energy-efficient production facilities.
The focus of the program includes the acquisition of new equipment and machines, investments in structural modifications, internal payroll costs, costs for professional development and training, as well as non-personnel and material costs.
The maximum funding available under this program is 200,000 euros per development proposal, with a funding rate of 50 percent and a minimum project value of 30,000 euros. Eligible applicants include existing small, medium, and large-scale enterprises, as well as company founders in Vienna. The program is open to commercial and industrial production companies across all sectors. Expenses that qualify for funding cover machines, structural modifications, payroll costs, and external services. A portion of the approved funding amount, up to a maximum of 50 percent, can be received as an upfront payment, and beneficiaries are required to submit biannual progress reports.
The maximum project duration allowed is two years. Required documents when applying include a completed online funding application, an application confirmation, a de minimis declaration, and recent annual financial statements or an income statement. Applications are evaluated by an independent jury, which provides recommendations for funding approval.
In addition to the main funding, there are bonuses available. A women’s bonus of 10,000 euros is awarded if the development proposal is led by a qualified woman, while a startup bonus of 5,000 euros is granted if a company is founded as part of the proposal.
