The SAJIDA Foundation is seeking applications for its Orange Corners Bangladesh Innovation Fund to strengthen early-stage, impact-driven businesses across Bangladesh.
The focus areas of the opportunity are providing working capital financing of up to BDT 60,00,000, offering a mix of grants, concessional loans, and tailored technical assistance, building strong operational, financial, and strategic foundations for scalable growth, enabling businesses to expand, generate employment, and advance progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and contributing to the broader investment ecosystem by creating a pipeline of trusted, de-risked, and investment-ready businesses.
The fund offers financing with a maximum award limit of BDT 60,00,000, at an annual financing rate of 4%, with a loan tenure of 24 months, repaid through Equated Quarterly Instalments (EQI), and the first instalment payable 90 days from disbursement. Payments are made via bank transfer.
Eligible applicants must not be current participants or alumni of the Orange Corners Bangladesh programme, and applications are encouraged from founders aged 18 to 35 and/or women founders or co-founders. Businesses must have been operational for at least two years, legally registered as a Private Limited Company in Bangladesh, provide audited financial statements for FY24 & FY25 and bank statements for the past 12 months, and possess all necessary business licenses and regulatory approvals.
Businesses must demonstrate sufficient cash flow and a consistent revenue stream to ensure timely repayment. Priority will be given to businesses demonstrating measurable social, economic, or environmental impact aligned with the SDGs, especially SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), and displaying commitment to responsible business practices, including fair employment policies, environmental sustainability, and ethical governance.
