Deadline: September 30, 2025
The Westpac Fiji Female Founders Grant Program is designed to support and nurture female founders who have been operating their businesses for at least six months, providing financial support to help scale their businesses.
The focus areas of the program include supporting female founders with financial inclusion, removing barriers for business founders, providing financial grants to aid business or investment purposes, purchasing inventory or equipment, marketing and promotional activities, business development training, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
This grant program offers up to five grants of FJ$5,000 each, which recipients can use to buy equipment ranging from computers and stationery to industry-specific machinery, set up workspaces such as home offices or retail spaces, market their businesses through social media and website development, and invest in quality technology like software systems to save time and improve business efficiency. Furthermore, each grant recipient is paired with an experienced mentor for guidance through early business stages and will have the chance to participate in annual networking events connecting them with other entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals. The program also includes business development training covering vital areas such as business planning, financial management, budgeting, marketing, branding, digital tools, and legal compliance, offered both in-person and virtually.
The application window closes on 30 September 2025, with all entries required to be submitted by the applicant herself. Multiple entries are not permitted, and the judging process runs from 1 October to 1 December 2025, with finalists and grant winners notified accordingly. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria and provide required documentation, including valid identification and a clear business plan showing commitment to growth.
Recipients will receive grant funding deposited into their Westpac bank accounts, and they may participate in related publicity events. Grant recipients should also be aware that the funds may have tax implications, and they are encouraged to seek independent financial advice. The grant program reserves rights concerning the cancellation, modification, or disqualification of applicants in the interest of fairness and program integrity.
