The Innovation Fund is inviting Serbian startups to apply for the Katalitik Co-Investment Grant Program, designed to accelerate the development and commercialization of AI-based solutions.
The focus areas for the program include supporting startups developing AI-based solutions, providing grant funding up to EUR 200,000, requiring matched investments from private investors, ensuring eligibility for micro and small enterprises registered in Serbia, and fostering innovative entrepreneurship and scientific research as part of the “Serbia Accelerating Innovation and Growth Entrepreneurship Project.”
The program operates on a co-investment principle, where the Fund’s grant funding is matched by investor contributions of equal or greater value, with a minimum qualified investment of EUR 50,000. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with cut-offs every three months; the next cut-off is scheduled for December 5, 2025.
Eligible startups must be majority-owned by the founding team, no older than ten years, and have ready investment agreements to participate.
Financing for the Katalitik Co-Investment Grant Program is provided by the Republic of Serbia through a World Bank loan, with implementation support from both the World Bank and the European Union. The initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen innovative entrepreneurship and research in Serbia.
