The Women’s Opportunities in Ukraine Charitable Foundation, with the support of The Jewish Federations of North America, will provide women entrepreneurs in Lviv and the Lviv region with mini-grants ranging from 50 to 150 thousand hryvnias for the purchase of necessary equipment for business development.
The goal of the competition is to support and develop local entrepreneurship in the Lviv region by providing grants to women who continue to run their businesses under martial law, wish to strengthen and develop their own business, or have started their own business anew after business relocation and need financial support.
Funding Information
- The total budget of the competition is UAH 2,000,000.
- The winners of the competition will be able to receive grant funding from the Fund in the amount of UAH 50,000 to UAH 150,000 for the purchase of necessary equipment for entrepreneurial activity and business development.
- Grant conditions:
- Entrepreneurs who do not have employees and do not plan to create jobs in the near future can apply for a grant of up to 50,000 hryvnias ;
- A grant of up to 100,000 hryvnias will be provided to entrepreneurs who have from 1 to 5 employees and who will employ at least 1 employee within 6 months of receiving the grant ;
- A grant of up to 150,000 hryvnias will be provided to entrepreneurs who have 5 or more employees and who, within 6 months of receiving the grant, will employ at least 2 more employees;
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open to women entrepreneurs who:
- are citizens of Ukraine;
- permanently reside in the territory of Ukraine;
- have a business operating in the Lviv region for 6 months or more or have relocated the business to the Lviv region after February 24, 2022 and have a confirmed status of an internally displaced person. For the purposes of these Regulations, a business means that a woman entrepreneur is a registered individual entrepreneur or owns a share in the authorized capital of a limited liability company (LLC) or a private enterprise (PE) in the amount of at least 70% of the authorized capital of the LLC or PE;
- do not reside or conduct economic activities in temporarily occupied territories;
- have no business ties or contracts with Russia and the Republic of Belarus;
- have no debt to the budget;
