This opportunity supports sole traders, micro, and early-stage businesses in the South Midlands by offering capital assistance to strengthen their innovation potential.
he focus areas of this opportunity are to drive growth and enhance innovation. This grant provides individual funding amounts ranging from £500 to £3,000, requiring applicants to contribute 50 percent of the total project cost, with support strictly limited to capital expenditure.
It is designed to help emerging and small enterprises access essential resources that can accelerate their development and improve their ability to innovate within the region.
Eligible applicants must be SMEs employing fewer than 250 people with a turnover below €50 million or an annual balance sheet under €43 million. They must also be registered enterprises based in the South Midlands and must not be classified as undertakings in difficulty. Charities and not-for-profit organisations may apply if they meet all scheme requirements, while businesses that are dissolved, in liquidation, or facing a striking-off notice are not eligible for support.
