Deadline Date: April 30, 2026
The International Market Entry program is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises from all industries that have their headquarters and operations in Vienna.
The objectives are to help existing SMEs establish a sustainable international presence, prioritize projects that are growth-oriented rather than ongoing operational costs, and ensure that funding contributes directly to market expansion.
Expanding your business to international markets has never been easier with targeted funding opportunities for SMEs in Vienna. The focus areas of this program include investments such as the acquisition of licenses and concessions for foreign markets, personnel and travel expenses, support for external services, and other costs associated with entering international markets.
The program offers up to 50,000 euros per project with a 50% funding rate for all companies, while the minimum project size is 20,000 euros. Eligible costs cover personnel costs, travel expenses, intangible investments such as licenses or concessions, and any services required to facilitate market entry abroad.
Applicants can also request an advance payment of up to 50% of the promised funding amount to help cover initial project costs. Each project may run for a maximum of two years, giving businesses sufficient time to establish themselves in new international markets. This funding initiative emphasizes precise cost planning, encouraging companies to calculate their project expenses carefully to maximize their eligibility and funding support.
