The “Supporting the Commercialisation of SME Innovations” grant programme provides funding to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Hungary to accelerate the development and market introduction of innovative products, services, or technologies through experimental development.
The focus areas and objectives of this opportunity include promoting experimental development, supporting research and development projects, and enhancing business and technological capacities to bring innovations to market and exploit them commercially. Eligible activities encompass compulsory experimental development work as well as optional investments in equipment and intangible assets that strengthen the company’s capacity for commercialisation.
The total budget for this call is HUF 60,000,000,000, with funds available per project ranging from HUF 100,000,000 to HUF 600,000,000. Approximately 100–200 applications are expected to be funded.
Eligible applicants are SMEs that have completed at least two full financial years with annual reports, maintain a statistical headcount of at least six employees in the last full business year, and have a registered seat in Hungary with double-entry accounting—or are Hungarian branches of EEA-registered companies maintaining double-entry accounting.
