Deadline Date: March 31, 2026
The Digitization Funding Program supports small and medium-sized enterprises in Vienna that have been operating for at least one year in planning and implementing structured digitization projects.
The program focuses on digitizing existing workflows within companies, setting up digital interfaces and new workflows, digitizing customer support, developing and implementing new digital solutions, investing in software and licenses, and using external consulting services and employee training related to digital solutions. This funding initiative is designed to help companies modernize their internal processes or value creation activities through clearly defined and verifiable digitization plans. Projects supported under the program must demonstrate a concrete approach to improving business operations through digital technologies.
Each project can receive funding of up to €50,000. The final funding amount is calculated based on approved eligible costs communicated in the funding commitment. The maximum funding rate under this program is 50 percent, meaning that half of the approved project costs can be covered by the funding. The maximum duration for completing a funded digitization project is two years, allowing companies sufficient time to plan, implement, and integrate their digital solutions into everyday operations.
Eligible projects may include investments related to the development and implementation of digital solutions, as well as the acquisition of necessary software and licenses. In addition, companies can receive support for external consulting services and for training employees by external service providers to ensure effective use of the newly introduced digital tools.
