Deadline Date: March 27, 2026
The Measures and Support Division is offering SMEs the opportunity to strengthen their operations and competitiveness through targeted digitalisation grants.
This initiative focuses on promoting entrepreneurship, facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas, fostering the creation of new firms including through business incubators, and reaping the benefits of digitisation for citizens, companies, research organisations, and public authorities under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The “Digitalise Your SME” Grant Scheme provides non-repayable grants to support SMEs and start-ups in implementing digitalisation investments. By leveraging the latest technologies, enterprises can improve product and process design, end-to-end procurement, supply chain management, distribution, and after-sales services. Digital tools and processes allow for optimised resource management, streamlined workflows, and enhanced production quality, while also enabling tailored services and more effective customer engagement. Furthermore, digital marketing and online channels help businesses reach new markets and customers more efficiently.
Eligible undertakings include micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises engaged in an economic activity, regardless of legal form, with start-ups also considered under specific conditions. Grants range from €10,000 to €128,400, including an additional 7% flat rate for indirect costs, with a total scheme budget of €5,000,000. The scheme remains effective until 31 December 2026, subject to the availability of funds.
By embracing digitalisation, SMEs in Malta can strengthen their resilience, boost productivity, and position themselves for sustainable growth in a competitive global marketplace.
