Deadline: October 14, 2025
The dAIEDGE Network of Excellence invites legal entities and consortia to submit proposals for collaborative projects aimed at strengthening the development of a dynamic European AI ecosystem and advancing AI at the Edge.
The dAIEDGE Open Call focuses on developing AI solutions at the Edge and addressing specific industrial challenges defined by the dAIEDGE Consortium. Projects can use existing resources from the dAIEDGE Virtual Lab or contribute new ones, and may build on previous dAIEDGE developments or use-cases. The initiative aims to strengthen a dynamic European AI ecosystem, support the advancement of cutting-edge AI, encourage the exchange of ideas and trends in next-generation AI, and create connections between ecosystem actors. It also seeks to identify strategies for future AI development in Europe. Up to 10 proposals will be funded, and eligible participants include Research and Technology Organisations, academic institutions, SMEs, and startups, either applying individually or as a consortium of up to two entities.
The dAIEDGE Collaborative Projects Open Call provides financial support of up to €60,000 per project to selected proposals. The program targets entities that are actively developing solutions for AI at the Edge and encourages collaboration between academia, SMEs, and research organisations.
Participants will have access to the dAIEDGE Virtual Lab resources and are encouraged to integrate or expand upon existing dAIEDGE project developments and use-cases. This approach allows for efficient scaling, trustworthiness, and high performance of AI solutions while promoting innovation across the European AI ecosystem.
The initiative fosters the exchange of ideas and trends among ecosystem actors, helping both the European Commission and the broader AI constituency to shape strategic directions for AI development in Europe. Applicants are strongly recommended to consult the dAIEDGE Guide for Applicants to ensure eligibility and a successful submission.
Interested entities can apply individually or as a consortium of up to two legal entities.
