Deadline Date: February 04, 2026
The Creative Saskatchewan provides support through the Marketing Grant – Micro Stream to help creative professionals enhance visibility and generate sales through focused marketing and publicity efforts.
The focus areas of this opportunity are support for marketing and publicity to improve visibility and generate sales, with two streams of funding depending on the scale of the project – Micro Stream designed for smaller, more sharply-focused marketing projects. The Marketing Grant – Micro Stream funds approved projects up to 50% of the approved project budget to a maximum of $5,000 per applicant per fiscal year, whichever is the lesser.
The stream is intended for marketing initiatives that are clear and targeted, allowing creators to promote their work effectively and reach wider markets. Each applicant is limited to one Marketing Grant – Micro Stream per fiscal year, and additional grants cannot be accessed through single-purpose companies, parent companies, or other companies where the applicant is an owner or majority stakeholder. In the 2023–24 fiscal year, the Micro Stream recorded an approval rate of 34%, with 25 approved applications out of 74 submissions.
Applicants from all creative sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan are eligible to apply. However, if a project qualifies for any Creative Saskatchewan production grant—such as Book Publishing Production, Craft and Visual Arts Production, Digital Game Development, Live Performing Arts Production, or Sound Recording—the applicant should apply for the corresponding production grant instead of the Marketing Grant.
