Deadline: 8-March-2026
The eBay Ventures is now accepting grant applications to support early-stage businesses applying circular ideas to solve real-world problems within the global fashion ecosystem.
The program focuses on circular ideas, advancing the fashion circular economy, use of emerging technologies, durability, reuse, traceability, reduction of waste, commercially viable business models, solving real-world problems, positive impact on people and the planet, and alignment with platform objectives and sustainability goals.
The program is open to businesses that are between six months and six years old and are based in the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Australia, Canada, or Switzerland. Eligible applicants must have a registered business that has been active within this timeframe and meet the registration requirements specific to their country, including recognition under applicable national or federal laws and exclusion of sole proprietorships. Charities and social enterprises are eligible where registration requirements are met.
Eight finalists will each receive a grant of $50,000 along with targeted mentoring to support the development and scaling of their circular business ideas. One standout business will be selected as the Circular Fashion Fund Global Winner and will gain the opportunity to receive a $300,000 investment from eBay Ventures.
Applications are assessed based on how effectively the business leverages emerging technologies to advance the circular economy in fashion, including enabling durability, reuse, traceability, and waste reduction. Evaluation also considers the uniqueness of the value proposition, commercial viability, ability to solve a defined problem, immediate and long-term impact on people and the planet, and potential for strategic collaboration and alignment with platform sustainability goals. Applications are further reviewed for care, thoroughness, team capability, business traction, and overall thesis during the global assessment stage.
