The Chips JU Programme provides support to projects focused on strengthening Electronic Components and Systems value chain integration through research and innovation activities.
The programme prioritises establishing new knowledge, exploring the feasibility of new or improved technologies, products, processes, services, methods, tools or solutions, along with applied research, technology development, method and tool integration, and testing and validation on small-scale prototypes in laboratory or simulated environments.
Innovation Fund Denmark provides co-funding to Danish participants in projects that are successful under this call. The maximum national funding is €650,000 per project when there is more than one Danish partner, and up to €650,000 per Danish partner. If a Danish organisation acts as coordinator, the maximum national funding increases to €1,300,000 per project, while still maintaining €650,000 per Danish partner. The minimum funding available is €50,000 per partner, and EU co-funding is not included in these national funding limits.
Eligible costs include salaries, travel, subcontracting, materials, communication and knowledge sharing, other project-related expenses, and overheads in accordance with applicable rates. The call is open to Danish universities, companies, industry organisations, RTOs and research organisations that are directly involved in project activities and eligible to apply for funding through Innovation Fund Denmark.
