Deadline: December 03, 2025
The Creative Europe Programme (CREA) invites audiovisual producers to apply for support aimed at increasing their capacity to develop and produce strong TV and online content projects with significant potential for circulation across Europe and beyond.
The focus areas include increasing the production of high-quality European works for linear and non-linear broadcasting, enhancing cooperation between operators from different countries participating in the MEDIA Strand including broadcasters, increasing audience reach through various broadcasting platforms, and promoting European and international co-productions within the television and online sector. Special emphasis is placed on projects presenting innovative aspects in content and financing, with a clear link to envisaged distribution strategies. Sustainability, environmental responsibility through greening consultants, gender balance, inclusion, diversity, and representativeness are also important priorities.
This funding action supports works such as drama films, animation, and documentaries intended for both linear and non-linear broadcasting, ideally involving strong cooperation between operators from different MEDIA Strand countries including broadcasters. The projects should have high creative and artistic value and wide cross-border exploitation potential, able to reach audiences at both European and international levels. Applicants are expected to present strategies for a more sustainable and environmentally respectful industry and to ensure inclusion, diversity, and gender balance.
The total indicative budget is €22 million, supporting multiple lump sum grants under the CREA Lump Sum Grant model.
