The Electropreneur Park-Bhubaneswar is inviting grant applications to support startups and innovators working in deep-tech sectors to turn their ideas into impactful solutions.
The focus is on areas such as embedded systems, robotics, IoT, PCB design, and computer vision, leveraging advanced technologies like AI and machine learning. Startups involved in low-power analog and digital circuit design, hardware design, and semiconductor development can also benefit from the resources and support provided by the park.
Innovative solutions in ESDM are encouraged to address real-world challenges faced by industries such as mining, power transmission, and distribution. Technologies including IoT, AI/ML, wireless sensor networks, and wearables can be applied to solve complex problems efficiently. The park also promotes solutions for disaster management, helping prevent and mitigate the impacts of pre- and post-disaster events. Smart city applications that improve traffic management, safety surveillance, energy conservation, and lighting are another area where innovators can make a tangible difference.
The agricultural sector stands to benefit from technology-driven solutions as well. Robotics, UAVs, IoT, and computer vision can be used to address challenges faced by farmers and the broader agri-industry. Additionally, startups can develop energy monitoring, logging, and automation systems for domestic and corporate environments, enhancing efficiency and sustainability through embedded systems, IoT, and AI/ML-enabled sensor networks.
Electropreneur Park provides a range of resources to accelerate deep-tech ventures. Startups receive twelve months of free access to MATLAB, Simulink, and more than 90 add-on products, with up to ten licenses per company, along with self-paced online tutorials and 50% off training credits for online and public classes. Cloud infrastructure support is provided through a portfolio package that includes $5,000 in AWS promotional credits, valid for up to two years, helping startups launch cloud-based solutions. Seed funding is also available, with a grant of Rs. 2 Lakhs for startups incubated at the park, as well as financial assistance of up to Rs. 50,000 for components and other essential services.
The program is open to entities that are developing or improving products, processes, or services, or building scalable business models with high potential for employment or wealth creation. Startups registered under the Startup India program are particularly encouraged to participate, but individual academicians, researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, partnership firms, and LLPs can also apply, with the requirement to register as a private limited company if selected.
This opportunity at Electropreneur Park-Bhubaneswar provides a platform for deep-tech innovators to access resources, mentorship, and financial support, helping them transform ideas into scalable solutions that can make a real impact across industries, smart cities, agriculture, energy, and disaster management.
