Deadline Date: September 23, 2026
The European Commission is currently accepting applications to support cross-cultural collaboration, innovative cultural policies and sustainable development through creative industries and international cultural relations.
The programme focuses on deepening the understanding of cultural policy models, creative industry ecosystems, and strategies that promote creative industries across world regions while identifying good practices, success stories, and replicable models. It also supports the establishment of international equal partnerships and collaborations for cultural policy exchange, collaborative production, co-creation, knowledge transfer, and capacity building.
Under the first focus area, projects are expected to examine innovative approaches that strengthen cultural and creative industries through international cooperation. Creative industries are recognised for contributing to economic growth, employment generation, opportunities for youth, women, and persons with disabilities, while also promoting wellbeing and innovation.
The second focus area explores the role of international cultural relations in strengthening global resilience and fostering peaceful coexistence. Projects under this stream are expected to test innovative forms of intercultural dialogue, collaborative artistic initiatives, and cultural partnerships that promote inclusion, diversity, openness, and mutual understanding.
The total funding available under this Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action is €15,000,000. Any legal entity, regardless of its place of establishment, including entities from non-associated third countries and international organisations, is eligible to participate provided the conditions under the Horizon Europe Regulation and the specific topic requirements are met.
Eligible participants may include affiliated entities, associated partners, entities without legal personality under specific conditions, EU bodies, the Joint Research Centre (JRC), associations, and interest groupings. Beneficiaries and affiliated entities must register in the Participant Register to obtain a Participant Identification Code (PIC) and complete the validation process before signing the grant agreement.
