Deadline: 28-April-2026
The Canary Islands Government is inviting proposals from social entities to develop projects that enhance the quality of life and promote equal opportunities for people experiencing social vulnerability.
The specific objectives of the projects include increasing the functional autonomy of participants by 10% within 12 months and promoting educational success and continuity of studies in post-compulsory stages. Projects submitted to this call for proposals may request funding of up to €50,000. The areas of action focus on supporting older people, individuals with disabilities, mental disorders, or illness, and promoting poverty reduction and social inclusion. Eligible entities include non-profit organizations and social economy entities whose statutes explicitly prioritize social cohesion or social and cultural interests.
This initiative seeks to empower vulnerable populations through targeted interventions that provide measurable improvements in independence, learning outcomes, and social participation. Projects are expected to clearly define achievable and measurable objectives, ensuring tangible impact within the scope of the proposal.
Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to manage and implement activities that directly address the identified needs of participants while fostering social inclusion and equity. Collaboration with local stakeholders and adherence to the guidelines of the Canary Islands’ social development framework will be essential for successful implementation.
Funding and support are intended to strengthen the organizational capacity of eligible entities while creating meaningful outcomes for the targeted communities, ultimately contributing to a more inclusive and supportive society in the Canary Islands.
